History Meme | 2/8 Objects: 1920’s Dresses
1920’s Dresses were lighter and brighter and shorter than ever before. Fashion designers played with fabric colors, textures and patterns to create totally new styles of dress. Evening dresses, coats and jackets were often trimmed with fur. Hemlines rose for most of the decade but dropped slightly toward the end. Shoes and stockings assumed a greater prominence now that they were more visible. Silk stockings in all the colors of the rainbow, often with patterns, were designed to match the coordinated outfits of stylish women. (x)
YES and now i can reblog myself yusss thank
Okay so I made it to a milestone in followers so I thought I’d do a giveaway. The only thing I have that I guess is cool is my art so I’ll be doing an art print giveaway!
Three winners will be chosen at random exactly ONE MONTH from now on Tuesday, 11 June 2013.
First Winner: 3 prints of your choice
Second Winner: 2 prints of your choice
Third Winner: 1 print of your choice
- One like, one reblog per person please!
- You don’t have to be following me
- I will ship anywhere
- You may choose anything of mine from my art tag or from my Deviantart gallery
- No giveaway blogs please
- Must be willing to give personal information so I can mail
Prints aren’t going to be big enough that you can wallpaper your room okay. They have to fit in one of the envelopes from USPS so the biggest they have is around 12x9in. But mostly I’ll be adhering to the printing service at Fedex Office most likely. Some art may be split up into sections and still considered “one” choice. Like this one I might split into four segments and, if you’re the first winner, you may still pick two more pieces to print.
If you have any questions, my ask is open.
I use xkit.
